Happily Ever After is a common theme in romance novels, so much so that many of the forums and sites that discuss romance novels refer to it using the acronym HEA.

Although not a romance writer, I have to admit that I am a big fan of Happily Ever After. Part of that may be due to my personality but I also think that it’s inherent in the medium of entertainment. That element of escapism in entertainment is what makes it so popular. (more…)
